      The Fluke 355 True-RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter, 2000A AC/DC is the tool of choice for high current clamp-on amp meter measurements. The extra-wide jaw easily clamps around large conductors, typically found in high-current applications. The extra rugged design and CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V ratings add an extra element of user protection when taking high-powered measurements; it also takes accurate peak measurements using the in-rush current mode, which is ideal for motors and inductive loads. Finally, the 355 measures voltage and resistance, making it an exceptionally versatile tool for utilities, electrical contractors, and industrial service technicians.

      Industrial plants and large facilities often have equipment and installations that draw greater than 1000 A. As with other current measurements, it is not practical to disconnect the equipment to make a series of current measurements.
