Hioki 3143 earth resistance tester (500 Ohm)
Grounding is increasingly important for the safe operation and maintenance of communications equipment and many other vehicles. However, in urban environments where the ground is covered with concrete or asphalt, conventional measurement methods that require the installation of auxiliary earth electrodes are difficult to use. The 3143 earth resistance tester uses a new measuring principle that makes the auxiliary earth electrodes unnecessary, so it can be used to measure ground resistance on paved roads.
Note on usage:
The 3143 are particularly useful for measuring the earth resistance of single bar electrodes found in overhead transmission line devices and various types of safety box circuits, while also combining different measuring principles with the measurement of Earth HiTESTER 3151.
- Measure the soil resistance on the paved road
- Auxiliary grounding rods are not required
- Large digital display for easy viewing
- Ground-resistant design and outstanding durability
