The NA-37A provides a solution to the age-old problem of discriminating between noise generated by different sources by detecting their location and movement direction. The NA-37A enables permanent/long-term noise monitoring to demonstrate compliance with noise limits even when the unprocessed soundfield contains significant contributions from extraneous sources of noise. The Rion MS-11 Outdoor Microphone and NA-83 Sound Level Meter (part of the NA-37 system but also available separately as a front end to a long-term noise monitoring system) achieve full IEC 61672 Class 1 performance with the weather protection in place. The MS-11’s remote calibration system is unique. Instead of employing an electrostatic actuator, which could potentially cause damage to the microphone if moisture was present, the MS-11 has an integrated sound source which produces 114 dB at 1000 Hz at the microphone diaphragm when activated.>

  • Clicking on an audio recording icon on the time history of a measurement starts playback of audio file
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reports easily prepared and individual events quickly and easily identified and evaluated
• The NA-37 with the NA-83 and MS-11 is IEC 61672 Class 1 compliant with the weather protection in place on the microphone
